About Trip Booker
Trip Booker is a hosted booking website and operational tool for UK coach operators who run leisure day trips and short staycations. Operators set up trips, manage pickup points, and accept payments through their own branded site; passengers book without creating accounts unless they want to.
It exists because the alternative for small coach operators is usually a phone line, a paper diary, and a stack of cheques arriving in the post. The other option is a generic SaaS booking platform built for fitness studios that treats coach trips as an awkward edge case. Trip Booker is built for this audience specifically: older customers comfortable with email and a phone but wary of unfamiliar checkout flows, operators who run a tight ship without dedicated tech staff, and driver-side workflows that respect the realities of running a coach on a Saturday in February.
The company
Trip Booker is operated by Quexo Limited, a UK company registered for VAT. Operators are merchant of record on every charge. Passengers pay the operator (via Stripe), and Quexo's commission is a B2B sale of platform services billed monthly via a proper VAT invoice. We are not a payment institution; Stripe is the regulated entity holding funds.
How it works
- An operator signs up at tripbooker.app/signup/operator, completes Stripe Connect onboarding, and is given a subdomain like leeds-coaches.tripbooker.app.
- The operator publishes trips through their dashboard, setting the title, dates, pickup points, price, and seats.
- Customers find the trip via the operator's own site, the operator's marketing, or the Trip Booker directory.
- They book and pay by card. The operator gets paid via Stripe two days after the trip departs.
- Trip Booker stays out of the way otherwise.
